Hello, my name is Tom Commander – and I’m delighted to share a little bit about myself and my work with you today.
My main profession is as a rehabilitation consultant at the German Pension Insurance. In this role, I support people who, after an illness or surgery, need help finding their way back into working life. What matters most to me is developing solutions that truly fit each individual – because everyone has their own story, and that should always be taken into account.
Alongside this work, I have a great passion for IT. I especially enjoy creating secure and efficient solutions for businesses – for example, setting up private cloud systems or enabling mobile work through VPNs. After all, modern technology should make life easier, not more complicated. And if someone needs help at home, I’m just as happy to assist: I also offer my services to private individuals – whether it’s setting up a stable network, protecting sensitive data, or simply making technology understandable and easy to use.
Another topic close to my heart is Bitcoin. In this area, I provide consulting and services to help people handle Bitcoin safely and confidently. It’s not just about buying and storing it, but also about understanding the fundamentals of the technology and its benefits as a decentralized, inflation-protected store of value. My goal is to make this knowledge clear and accessible, while finding solutions that fit each person’s needs.
I also write books on topics that matter deeply to me. One of them, “Building Wealth for Children,” is about how to strengthen the financial future of the next generation early on. Another explores the challenges of our social security systems and compares approaches such as citizens’ insurance and the citizens’ flat-rate model.
Whether in rehabilitation consulting, IT, Bitcoin, or my books – my aim is always the same: to support people, make knowledge more understandable, and develop practical solutions that truly help.
